Squatting
I have been squatting for a while now and i am striving to get lower. It is tough because i struggle to get low and i try different positions and technique to do it. I know i have to get lower because of the fact it is proper technique. But it seems as though i cant get lower without arching my back or having my knees go side to side.

Re: Squatting
try switching to dumbells.......most teen players will use a barbell but i usually dont and it still pays off....use it in a combination...for example....full squat with dumbells touching sides of feet then as you raise out of the squat do a shoulder press.......youll see your whole body along with your core get alot stronger.........by doing this your not locking your shoulders and arms out by resting them on the bar.........full body movement basically

Re: Squatting
Brunstar what sport do you play? This is important because you may not need to go super deep depending on the sport you're training for....how deep would you say your squat is now? Has it improved since you you left this message in the spring?
